3742.JPG

Historic Mansker’s Station is open for tours 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday.  Saturday tours are suspended for 2021.  The Visitor’s Center and the Gift Shop are open 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.

Historic Mansker’s Station portrays a significant time period in Tennessee history.  Mansker’s Fort is a replica log station that was built in the Middle Tennessee area in 1779.  The original Bowen House is the oldest standing brick home in Middle Tennessee and was constructed in 1787 by Captain William Bowen and was the birthplace of Tennessee Governor William Bowen Campbell.  Guests who visit Mansker’s Fort and the Bowen House will experience life at Historic Mansker’s Station through a hands-on tour guided by interpreters clothed in 18th Century attire.  Admission fees range $6-$8 and children 5 and under are free.

For more information, contact the Goodlettsville Tourism Department by calling 615-859-3678 or by visiting www.visitgoodlettsville.com.  Historic Mansker’s Station is located at 705 Caldwell Drive, Goodlettsville.
